Hello, my name is Gabrielle Yeager and I am a junior website developer interested in software engineering and computer science. I got interested in the field after becoming the Social Media Manager of the Clovis North, my high school, Coding Club and attending the free lessons the experienced officers held. I went on to become more captivated when I helped host our school’s first Innovation Challenge. The event happened to feature a panel of experienced engineers and, during my attendance, I learned and immediately began researching more about ‘software engineering’. Ever since, I have taken on every opportunity I have to learn more about programming and computers, such as enrolling in the Center for Advanced Research and Technology’s Engineering and Web Application labs.
